We assist by offering our recruitment expertise to specific hand-picked Canadian employers in need of experienced South African employees. These employers are mostly grain farmers as well as employers in need of specific skills, such as qualified, experienced diesel mechanics.
Seasonal contracts of approximately 8 months, as well as longer contracts of approximately two years are usually offered. Depending on candidates’ skills & level of experience permanent positions are also offered where possible. Check our social media for more information.
Relevant and recent experience and skills for a grain farming environment (land preparation, ploughing, planting, sowing, spraying, harvesting), which would include equipment operating skills and attaching implements to tractors. US experience (international exposure) could count in the applicants favour.
Additional skills such as GPS technology, operating an airseeder, pivot & irrigation systems, feelot/ cattle/ dairy, welding / manufacturing skills, manure & silage handling, as well as mechanical skills for repairs and maintenance on farming implements would be a bonus. Truck (Semi truck / Semi with trailer/semi with two trailers) driving experience (EC licence in South Africa) is a further bonus to employers.)
